Larry King Files for His Eighth Divorce

According to a People.com article, CNN's host Larry King filed for his eighth divorce yesterday.  His wife, Shawn Southwick King filed a counter petition for divorce shortly thereafter.  The couple, who have been married for thirteen years, has two children together.  The host's family law attorney says that King "would like to do [these proceedings] amicably."  While King would like to share custody of the pair's two children, Southwick filed for sole custody.  Also, the couple disagrees on the issue of alimony.  Southwick is seeking alimony from King, while he is asking that she receive no support.  Hopefully the couple can work through their differences outside of a family law court, perhaps with mediation, as it would be in the best interest of their children.
