Nas Deals with Contempt Issue in His Divorce Case

According to an AssociatedPress.com article, rapper Nas faced a contempt charge for breaking the child support and alimony terms of his divorce settlement with ex-wife, singer Kelis.  According to the terms of their family law settlement, Nas is required to pay Kelis child support and alimony.  He fell almost $200,000 behind on his payments, but was able to strike a deal with a Los Angeles family law court judge where he paid Kelis $50,000 now and he will continue to pay his ex-wife on a monthly basis until he is up to date on his debt.
