Texas Appeals Court to Review Gay Divorce Case
According to a recent Miami Herald.com article, an appeals court in Texas will hear arguments on whether a same-sex couple who were married in Massachusetts can get a divorce in a Texas family law court. The State of Texas is appealing the lower family law court's ruling that Texas' ban on gay marriage violates the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of equal protection under the law.
