In a recent Huffington Post Divorce article, the author outlined ten things that a party should consider before filing for divorce. The tenth item listed was to evaluate your situation and consider if divorce is the right option for you.
As firm of family law attorneys, we at Givens Law Group are all trained in what to do once you have decided to go forward with a divorce. We can advise you on child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony and attorney's fees. We can advise what type of divorce is best for you (flat fee, uncontested, contested, collaborative). What we cannot (and will not) do is advise if divorce is right for you. That decision is best left to you.
