Cheryl Cole hopes the divorce will be finalized before England begins to play for the World Cup against the United States on June 12th. She wants a clean split as she is not asking for possession of their marital home or alimony from her husband, who reportedly makes £6 million a year. Under these circumstances, the parties will most likely have an uncontested divorce, thus avoiding a costly and time-consuming trial in a family law court.
