Ten Things to Consider Before Filing for Divorce: Part III

A recent Huffington Post Divorce article detailed ten things that people should consider before filing for divorce.  The third thing that the author states that the parties should consider is what arrangement makes the most sense with regard to custody.

In Florida family law cases, the court no longer refers to the time that parents spend with their minor children as "custody".  The term that is used now is "timesharing".  Even though the terms have changed, the court still needs to determine where each of the children will spend their overnights, and what parental responsibility the parties shall have.

If you are thinking about divorce, contact an expert Tampa family law attorney to discuss your timesharing options.
