CHRIS GIVENS is a Principal with the firm. Chris has been licensed to practice law since 2003, after graduating from the Florida State University College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. Chris was born in Tampa in 1977.

From December 2003 through November 2005, he served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit under State Attorney Mark Ober. From January 2003, he served as a certified legal intern in the State Attorney's Offices in Tallahassee and in Tampa.

Chris prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases including Felony, Misdemeanor and Juvenile. As a prosecutor, he participated in 25 jury trials, as well as over a hundred non-jury trials and substantive motions.


Chris is active in both the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Florida Bar. He is a member of the Family Law and Criminal sections of both those organizations.

Chris' practice areas include Family Law, Divorce, Child Custody, Criminal and General Civil Law.
