Victoria Cruz-Garcia is a family law attorney at Givens Givens Sparks. She is a graduate of Rutgers University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and a graduate of Stetson College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. After graduating law school, she was admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida.
For her hard work and efforts in the field of family law, Victoria was selected to the list of Rising Stars by Super Lawyers for the years 2013 - 2014. She is also a member of a number of legal organizations, such as the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Florida Bar Association Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee, Florida Bar Association Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and Florida Bar Association Judicial Nomination Procedures Committee.
She is not only a member, but also the past president of the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association. She has garnered numerous awards for her dedication to her field, such as the Tampa Hispanic Heritage Trailblazer Award in Education and Thomas M. Cooley Law School Great Deeds Award.
Victoria was awarded the ‘2015 Luis Cabassa Award’, the highest honor given by the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association, because of her commitment to law, professionalism, and the community through the organization.
Prior to joining the team at Givens Givens Sparks, Victoria taught as an assistant professor at Thomas M. Cooley School of Law and ran her own practice, Cruz-Garcia Law, from 2012-2014.
