Did Facebook Cause My Divorce?

In a recent article on Huffington Post Divorce, the question of how internet social technology is affecting marriages on a whole arose.  The article cites W. Brad Wilcox's recent edition of "State of Our Unions", an annual report detailing the state of marriage in America.  The study by Mr. Wilcox touched on numerous issues affecting divorce in today's society, including both economic and cultural causes.  The author suggests that the rise of social media has increased our "disengagement from civic activity" and can be a contributing factor in divorce.

Facebook and other social media outlets sources are increasingly used as evidenced presented in family law cases.  Articles such as the one published on the Huffington Post indicate the importance and necessity of discussing your online social presence with a qualified expert family law attorney.
